How can you handle everything as one person?
I’ve got a lot of experience in the marketing and design industries. Someone could say that I’m a “Jack-of-all-Trades, Master of None,” but the reality is that I’m a master at creating alignment in your business in order to help you grow. When we collaborate, I look at the bigger picture, and I dig into the why behind everything we do to help make it all make sense and ultimately, to help you grow. Creating that alignment requires me to have hands-on with multiple components of your marketing, and I’ve taken the time to educate myself on the ins-and-outs and best practices so that I can successfully be an all-in-one solution for my clients.
When it comes down to it, you can DIY all day, but having something that looks good but doesn’t meet your goals or resonate with your ideal client is a waste of time.
What should I expect from you as my marketer?
- Timely communication
- No-nonsense approach to the best strategies for your business
- Candid conversations about what’s working and what’s not – not just agreeing with what you’re saying
- Pulling ideas out of your head
Sometimes my approach requires hard conversations that have pure intentions, and a lot of questions, with the end goal of making something that works perfectly for your business’ goals and clients.
How long will my project take?
There’s a lot of variables that go into the duration of a project, including:
- The scope of a project – what we’re actually working on together
- My current workload and where your project falls in the queue
- The timeliness of your feedback
I do my best to move your project along as quickly as I can, with most projects wrapping up inside of 30-45 days.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! If you need an alternate payment arrangement, I’m open to that conversation for projects above a certain threshold.
What kinds of payment methods do you accept?
I accept all credit cards and bank drafts (ACH) as payment. Generally, I don’t accept checks except in special circumstances. Payment via Paypal can also be arranged in some circumstances. I do not leverage Venmo, Zelle, or Cashapp in my business.
Why should I hire you instead of using AI?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Language Learning Models (LLMs) can spit out a solution to your query, if you know the right questions to ask. However, what AI doesn’t do well is distinguish nuance or pick up on emotional cues in a conversation.
While I can’t tout speed as a differentiating factor since the introduction of AI, I can tout the unique human touch that allows me to create solutions that work specifically for your business, your goals, and your clients.
There’s also an ethical concern to AI; it’s pulling information that already exists on the internet, and so creating something uniquely yours is nearly impossible using AI’s tools. Read more about the concerns in this post.
How do you use AI in your business?
I wrote an entire blog on AI and how I leverage it, and what I recommend to clients. Take a read here.
How do we measure the return on investment (ROI) of the work we do together?
Traditionally, measuring ROI on marketing efforts is done through knowing how many people looked at or leveraged the thing we put together (like a television ad, or a social media ad). However, that’s not always possible when we’re looking at the statistics of things like a printed leave-behind, or an optimized LinkedIn profile.
Instead, it requires an extra step on your team’s part: you have to ask where the new clients are coming from or how they found you. Things they might say include a Google search, a referral, a social media post, or something like a billboard or an ad. If we’re doing our job right, those are all things we’ve optimized and created strategies for, and they’re all good answers.
The bottom line is that there’s no hard-and-fast number that we can tie back to some of the strategies that we employ, it’s more an overall measurement of what success looks like for you. For most of my clients, it means more business and more revenue.
